Cycling Circles
Projects & Partners

A lot of my routes and projects can be found on Komoot. Definitely the best and most important tool that Cycling Circles makes use of. All routes you can find here are free for personal use.

Dr. Velo is the cycling shop in Utrecht (NL) which is for sure the home base of Cycling Circles for all that's related to bicycles. You should definitely give them a visit (probably you'll bump into me there as well)!

Kaffeetaria is a local espresso bar, bakery, and meeting room with awesome coffee and the best cinamin rolls (and a lot more!). Together with Dr. Velo we organise every last Sunday of the month a social (coffee) ride. We meet at 9:30h at Kaffeetaria Croeselaan 207, Utrecht. Feel free to join!

Cycling Circles is working together with I Care Productions for a lot of sporting events (cycling, running walking). Among a lot of others; The Ride for the Roses, HomeSport Events, the Jan Janssen Classic, and the Rainbow Ride.

On behalf of Moev Events, Cycling Circles is responsible for the routes of the multi days events of Tour for Life, Giro di KiKa, Stelvio di KiKa and Duchenne Heroes. Focussing on the most beautiful scenery, the best roads, rider safety, organisational logistics and overall the best experiences for participants.

Hotel Lory, based at Lago di Molevno (voted the most beautiful lake in Italy) in the Dolomites is a perfect spot to stay and enjoy awesome cycling rides. As a cycling guide or trainer, Cycling Circles can provide you, together with the amazing hospitality of Lory, with the best cycling experience you can imagine.

Who is Cycling Circles?

Hi, I'm Timeas Schim van der Loeff (1991) and I love kind of everything about cycling. From traveling by (any kind of) bike to racing cyclo's in the mountains, and from creating routes to tinkering on my bike.

I think the beauty of cycling is that it challenges you both mentally and physically, possibly in places where you'd never go otherwise. And I'd love it if everyone could experience that, in their own unique way. Because every ride is different! You can follow experiences and adventures on Strava.

I love riding cyclo's in the mountains. If you like to get to know me a little bit better, you can read my story about my Haute Route Davos 2022, a three-day stage race in the Alps of Switzerland.
